Unfortunate, but true for all of you counting on Obamacare. The Obama Admin screwed the pooch on this item as well. It is not a long read liberals, so try and focus on the facts.

Where is the money coming from?

Do you know if these centers will be financed by the Federal Government or the States as in medicaid?

If you do not know, then you are supporting something you are totally ignorant about.

From the article

"Each state is different — their eligibility systems are different, their insurance markets are different. [HHS is] going to have to build these exchanges to fit into the context of each state."

So why is an obese person in the south different from an obese person in the north, why is a smoker in Maine different from a smoker in California? This bullshit about markets and eligibility being different is the problem, a problem like so many obamacare does not address.

Obamacare is the largest boondoggle to ever be put forth in this country by an adminstration. It's a great idea if you have the money to start it, but unfortunately, we do not. It's something that will probably DOUBLE the national debt as we know it. For the 30-50 year old generation that helped get the people into office that opened up this can of worms, do not expect that your children and grandchildren will want to pay these bills that just thrust upon them knowing that you yourselves will never fully pay your share. These kids may throw everyone under the bus if need be.

Does that really matter when we can't pay for ObamaCare?

The forum software says I've misspelled "ObamaCare". Isn't that in the lexicon now?

If we really want to affect health then the govt will need to control much more than the healthcare industry.

This is about money and another example of govt intrusion via fear mongering... we can't all live forever.

As part of this very short article points out I've also wondered why Republican governors who normally hate having the feds come mess about in their territory would decline to set up a nice exchange system that they could more closely control.

Doesn't anyone else remember during the debate over healthcare reform the Republicans would offer health care exchanges that would allow people to buy policies from competing insurance companies? The way it is/was now each state is locked in to a very few or just one company like Alabama with Blue Cross.

Republicans once wanted a more market based system offering competition. Now all of a sudden because it is part of the dreaded Obamacare system they think it is the worst idea ever? And they wonder why people are turning against them? Who could support this childish sort of behavior?

Here's an interesting site with lots of information about how various states have approached the need for creating their health care exchanges.
