Don't be fooled by that. Trump had nearly 700,000 people asking him to be fired from Macy's for his line. Money is Trump's bottom line.He is hugely unpopular for his rants about the President.

Mr. Trump is so far upside down, that absent his media deals and his contracts with NBC.....he would be selling apples on Broadway.....the man has a negative balance sheet which he floats on his entertainment income.....now when people are finally saying the emperor Donald has no clothes.....he is going to scramble for any lifeboat.....Trump is history....he was always irrelevant, and his apprentice series initially actually had a fair premise, but celebrity apprentice.....well...his ego finally caught up with his failings......that big wooooooooosssssssh you heard on the Thanksgiving parade was not the floats letting out air.....it was the air coming out of the Trump brand....as he crashed and burned.

It will be announced tomorrow morning that Trump and Mitt have met with the Pope and with the full approval of the Vatican Finance Counsel have pooled all their money and have just bought the entire country of China. They hope to make a nice profit by selling it to the aliens that hover over our country secretly spying on us day and night until their beady little eyes ache. Now they will have a home place. What they do with the two billion Chinese is another question,

Please show us a reliable source for your claim. More than likely it is simply your Progressive HATE THE RICH GUY phobia.

He has never been bankrupt. He has had ventures go bankrupt which is a risk you take when you open any business if there is to be a reward. President Barack Hussein Obama's goal is to LIMIT profits to what HE thinks is "FAIR". That will sharply discourage anyone from opening or expanding a business.

Donald Trump, on the other hand, OPENS BUSINESSES AND HIRES PEOPLE.

The Donald is someone everyone wants to hate. He is immensely successful, has a terrific family, children of which to be proud, his kids hung around his office with dad growing up. He doesn't drink and is a Christian.

No wonder you hate him. He's kind of like a loud, boisterous, arrogant Mitt Romney.

yep.....you are right........Trump and Romney are two peas in a pod.......bend the rules and cheat........strip assets for personal use, and file bankruptcy......the new American morality which you accuse me of having envy.....sorry....this is not how America was built......shysters all. No No No

By 1989, poor business decisions left Trump unable to meet loan payments. Trump financed the construction of his third casino, the $1 billion Taj Mahal, primarily with high-interest junk bonds. Although he shored up his businesses with additional loans and postponed interest payments, by 1991 increasing debt brought Trump to business bankruptcy[64] and the brink of personal bankruptcy. Banks and bond holders had lost hundreds of millions of dollars, but opted to restructure his debt to avoid the risk of losing more money in court. The Taj Mahal re-emerged from bankruptcy on October 5, 1991, with Trump ceding 50 percent ownership in the casino to the original bondholders in exchange for lowered interest rates on the debt and more time to pay it off.[65]

None of those were personal bankruptcies. When you take a business risk, there is always the chance it will fail.

How many people work in Trump and Romney own enterprises?

If a company is failing, ie not being profitable, how long should the owner pour his/her own money into the venture? How long would yoou work for someone if it was COSTING you money to be employed?

Try to keep this in mind when you're gearing yourself up to start another Solyndra thread.

He has personal loan guarantees and absent his income from his media ventures his house of cards will fall......he is an illusion, and the illusion was built on Trump being quality and the best.....and the illusion is gone as the American public knows him for what he has always been a flim flam man with multiple failed marriages, failed business, and a failed person who has become a fool to all but himself......you hold him up as your model of the American success story......I will simply laugh....I have seen people who have succeeded and have never screwed anybody.....and actually brought a product to market which helped society and did so without fanfare or a silver spoon........well the creditors may have to extract that silver spoon from where the sun does not shine because the man is an egg heading for the kitchen floor.

Yes, but PRIVATE businesses are not using TAX PAYER MONEY TO FAIL.

It also is not up to the GOVERNMENT to RISK TAX PAYER MONEY on highly risky business ventures.

Made my share of bad decisions, but I have never filed bankruptcy....I have been married for 36 years.......and I have never screwed my partners, my customers, or creditors.......yet........anything can happen to even the best intentioned people.....but Donald Trump has a 30 year track record......and you put this man on a pedestal......it is not me who is making the bad decisions.....trump is an illusion for the weak of mind, and as his world of deceit and greed collapses around him.....we wait for the next manufactured media limelight.....it keeps him afloat, but the American people are simply getting smart....he is toast.....but my decisions are relevant......my decision today is to call it like I see it....Trump is a fool.

I don't put him on any pedestal. I do think he is quite a character, a bit eccentric and an ego maniac. Still, whatever you want to say about him, he has done a good job.

You're certainly entitled to your OPINION about him but he is certainly no fool.

No, it is not my opinion when a person self destructs a brand which once stood for quality, and now it stands for nothing.......in selling his soul for celebrity, he made enough money to keep the illusion afloat, but in the end he killed his brand.......and in Chicago.....Trump towers is the last place folks with resources want to be associated.....his partnership structures always depended on the brand to keep his illusion afloat........so if you do not call his actions the last two years foolish.....than the only person you are fooling is yourself......and if you think it is only my opinion.....well talk to the Macy Folks.....and watch what NBC does in the next two years with Trump's contracts.......we will see if it is my opinion.....or some lucky guess which reflects reality.....we shall see.

Back several months ago, I posted more than once that I could not understand why Trump would put his commercial "brand" at risk with that hard-edged political partisanship.
I think I now understand it better. Trump was in the same mindset as Romney.
Both overestimated the popularity of wealthy people in current times. They both see themselves as role models which they are to an extent. BUT what they both miscalculated is the number of people out here in the populace who see them that way. They're role models to old white baby boomers but old white baby boomers are becoming less representative of the populace. And the rest of the populace aint big on old wealthy white men who see themselves as role models.

I think the dictionary definition of "fool" should be "anyone who does not recognize the greatness of barack obama, nancy palosi, harry reid and rachel maddow".

Donald Turnip got mixed up in a truckload of cabbages and fell off only to wake up a billionaire.
