It is shameful how the right wing nuts, the anti-science guys have stifled meaningful discussion about a phenomenon the rest of the world has been seriously dealing with for many years now.

It makes us look stupid to say the least.

And all they hang their hats on is repeating over and over: there is no such thing as global warming, or well this is just a natural shift in the climate and it's happened many times in the history of the Earth and is no big deal. I'm not sure on this last point how old they are claiming the Earth is, that's another issue.

Hopefully some good will come from Hurricane Sandy and open the space for Americans to come to terms with what we need to do.

At the very least, as McCain once said, basically if we behave more responsibly the worst thing that could happen is that we'd have a cleaner planet.

You can not be serious "most brutal campaign ad". That ad is a joke, taking Romneys jab at the president and then showing hurricane footage as to link the two together implying romney doesn't care about the environment is fucking retarded, sorry there really just isn't other way to describe it. Why not take photo's of all the poor souls who have died from sandy and say "Obama let them die" because it makes about as much sense.

Whether you agree with them or not, you can't deny that Obama is more concerned about the environment than Romney...just look at their policies.
Regarding the ad, the implication is powerful and I bet Romney wishes he had never mocked Obama.
