No commentary to go along with the link. No explanation as to why we should vote "No" on all amendments. Doesn't really matter because I have already voted and returned my ballot and I voted "Yes" on the same 3 amendments that Gunz commented on.

That's your perogative.The article was self explanatory.If you voted for the exemption for disabled vets you voted to give non residents an exemption.We already have an exemption for disabled vets. The healthcare amendment is useless as we the feds trump state laws. As for the first responders amendment that means anyone regardless of income wouldn't have to pay property taxes for a loss of spouse.

I would have voted for the homestead exemption until I read it was also for non-residents.

I also voted no on the healthcare, it would have just created expensive lawsuits and fed law in this one does trump state no matter how the residents vote.

How many disabled non-resident veterans do you know that own property in Florida? If they do not own property in Florida, then there would be no exemption for them to claim.
