Does anybody know WHY we are at war? The oil corporations didn't get all of Iraq's oil and Pharmaceutical corporations haven't got all of Afghanistan's opium. Nobody else in the MiddleEast has anything worth ripping off.

Afghanistan has nearly a trillion dollars in untapped mineral resources. Just goes to show how ignorant they really are. They would rather fight the next village across the way over a dead goat and a dusty pile of mud huts they think were stolen from their ancestors.

We're still there, or more accurately our government and it's military forces are still there, because we (they) need to prop up the government we (they) installed for them which is a model of democracy. Same as we (they) propped up that model government we (they) installed in Iran until the people revolted and threw it out.
The best thing we (our government) can keep doing is to occupy all these countries and give them all these wonderful models of democracy no matter the cost in lives or money because we can keep borrowing the money from the chinks and there are plenty more lives to sacrifice where those came from.
That's the only patriotic course of action. Anything else is liberal.
