I hope all you Republicans are proud of what you've done to this country. What great Americans you are!

LOL, that's what he said and he also is saying we're going in the right direction.

Dreams, I've tried to do my part to help the economy. In the last 4 years we've bought a house, bought 3 cars, been on more road trips than I can keep track of, bought probably half a dozen airline tickets, funded 3 1/2 years of college for our daughter, and are in the middle of a small bathroom remodel this weekend. But our family income is down probably $6000 a year from what it was just 2 years ago. So now we're just about broke. Sorry, I have no more money to help the Obama economy. Crying or Very sad

Republicans are not printing money like it is going out of style, they aren't having moratoriums on drilling in the Gulf, they aren't closing down coal fired electric plants, they aren't reducing the military, they aren't announcing to the Taliban when we plan to withdraw from Astan, they aren't overloading the EPA on BS regulations, they aren't creating a tax that Americans will have to pay for if they don't have health insurance, and they sure as hell aren't BOWING to people all over the world.

Hell, my wife and I tried to refinance the house, but after buying it for 89k in 2004 and then owing just 52k now, we weren't able because the guy at the finance company said we do not have enough equity. WTF?

The private sector doing just fine is a stretch but is it improving? Hell yeah, why can't we celebrate improvements? As to these gradual improvements they came IN SPITE of the obstructionist element in the GOP. I am convinced that their priorities are politics first country second. Get that sucker out of the WH first and then and only then will we cooperate, it has a historical record of Obama's presidency. You can be in denial or not, it is a fact sad as it is.

what if the economy is just being propped up by massive amounts of borrowed/printed money to make obama look good?

what would lead you to believe that obama knows anything about economics? that might have been a good question in 2008.

If he had not decided to "have things 100% his way" and actually didnt shut out the GOP on things like Obamacare over JOBS, well he might have gotten cooperation.

You imbeciles need to face facts. Your party has become a parody of itself. Your candidate cheated all the other candidates out of the race. Dispute that, if you can, but you know it's true. A Romney in the White House would be enough to completely destroy this country. I hope you're using your brain in this election.

Sorry, I forgot he is just a socialist, Muslim, libertard from Kenya who just accidentally got where he is because of what . . . . . providence? I relate to your obsession with the Federal Reserve printing money, in fact we agree, but you would die before giving credit in any form to this President for fighting for the middle class instead of rolling over to the oligarchy who will oversee an even greater power grab for those whose needs are the least.

If anyone STOLE or Cheated other candidates it was Obama stealing Hillary's nomination in 2008.

Wow...let's see, we have more unemployed people than any time in modern history, more people on food stamps, more people living in poverty, the cost of college skyrocketing, the cost of gas double when he took office, the cost of health care skyrocketing, coal power plants being closed, coal miners being put out of work, massive debt to be paid by our children and their children, wow...and this is fighting for the middle class. Then why is the middle class getting smaller and smaller?

Just imagine what would be happening if President Obama was fighting AGAINST the middle class. Could it get worse?

Markle, Your copy and paste abilities are amazing, I'll give you that. You pick and choose conveniently omitting factors that have left us where we are economically, In short I won't waste my efforts having a discussion with you except to say that Romney would be worse for the American middle class and best for the oligarchy period. You are content with that, I am not.

I'm not sure what's worse for the middle class than high unemployment, declining wages, rising cost of living, and a shrinking dollar... but I'm sure there are some justified ideological fears. i don't think there would be many substantive differences... but obama said he would cut the deficit and he has not. if throwing money at this "crisis" were a good idea... i think we would know by now. this ain't our first downturn... a long time ago the federal reserve was created to "fix" these free market swings and bank failures.

how's that workin out for us?
