Yeah he's neurotic, but the scary part is that he's making the country more neurotic with each bugshit incident.
Most of his base thinks Alabama was threatened by the hurricane, and that he's being wrongly persecuted by the press because he says so.
When he's defeated next November, he definitely won't bow out gracefully, and those same people will never accept our next democratically elected President.
This hurricane business is funny as hell, but it's also an ominous sign going forward.
That's why it's important.
