Trump's lawyer paid $130,000 of own money to porn star

President Donald Trump's personal lawyer said Tuesday that he paid $130,000 of his own money to a porn star who allegedly had a sexual encounter with the President before his time in office.

"In a private transaction in 2016, I used my own personal funds to facilitate a payment of $130,000 to Ms. Stephanie Clifford," Michael Cohen said in a statement. "Neither the Trump Organization nor the Trump campaign was a party to the transaction with Ms. Clifford, and neither reimbursed me for the payment, either directly or indirectly."

Just weeks before the 2016 election, Cohen reportedly created a private LLC to pay Clifford, otherwise known as Stormy Daniels, following an alleged July 2006 encounter with Trump, The Wall Street Journal reported in January.
The New York Times first reported that Cohen had said he made the payment himself.

Following initial reports last month that Cohen had made the payment, he said in a statement that Trump "vehemently denies" any encounter between the two.

Stormy Daniels' manager says the porn star 'is going to tell her story'


A manager for the porn star who was reportedly paid $130,000 by President Donald Trump's personal lawyer claims the agreement between the two is no longer valid.

Gina Rodriguez, a manager for Stephanie Clifford, who is also known as Stormy Daniels, said Wednesday that Clifford believes Michael Cohen voided the non-disclosure agreement with her by admitting he paid Clifford $130,000.
Rodriguez added: "Everything is off now, and Stormy is going to tell her story."

The Associated Press first reported Wednesday that Clifford now believes she is free to talk about an alleged sexual encounter with Trump.
In a statement released Tuesday night, Cohen said he paid Clifford in 2016, and claimed that the exchange was "lawful" and "not a campaign contribution expenditure by anyone."

The issue is not Trump being a dog and cheater, it is about a 130k payment.

I know this is hard to believe, but lawyers do not pay 130k out of the goodness of their heart. The truth has left the building and to actually think people defend this man still......boredom or brain failure, nobody cares about trump having sex while married.....a big who cares, but do you see the pattern?

He didn't sign the non-disclosure agreement, so looks like Stormy's gonna cash in by selling the story now.

I doubt it'll do much damage, since Trump's evangelical base sold out their "morals" a long time ago and will happily let him get away with anything, as long as he keeps feeding their hatred of Blacks and Latinos... but, there's no telling what details might come out. What's tickling the hell out of me is watching his supporters defend him, after they still won't shut up about Bill Clinton (who's an admitted sleazebag), constantly yammered about Anthony Weiner (who's a silly idiot but all he did was text pics of his underwear), and even had to completely make shit up about Obama (bathhouses and what-not, trying to make him gay as well as Kenyan, Muslim, the Antichrist, etc.) because he never gave them any real fodder.
