White Lives Matter Rally Canceled. Outnumbered 1000 to 30.

Downtown Murfreesboro was desolate late Saturday afternoon after hours of chanting and protests that had rippled through the city.

Law enforcement announced plans to remove barriers from the downtown square after white nationalists called off a planned White Lives Matter Rally there. Counterprotesters, who had gathered across the city, ended their events as the rally petered out.

White nationalists were overwhelmingly outnumbered by counterprotesters in Murfreesboro.

About 800 to 1,000 counterprotesters gathered in Murfreesboro to oppose the rally, chanting "Murfreesboro loves," "refugees are welcome here" and "this is what democracy looks like." About 30 white nationalists showed up at the rally in the square in downtown Murfreesboro.

Losing white privilege is a bitch, and the worse thing is the thought in as little as thirty years a diverse America will be a reality which drives these folks insane. The idea of a Muslim President, or a black quarterback just does not equate in the make America great again fantasy.

That's the way to do it. Just outnumber 'em, so they're demoralized and drag their whiney asses home. Really, if you can't handle being a white male in America, you're just not fit to survive anywhere. I think these guys expect to be embraced and coddled by everyone else who's white, but, it's bullshit. Nobody wants 'em around. We don't need "saving," and they're the last ones who'd do it. They're the low end of the learning curve, hoping pigment will buy them something. Racists need to die off so the rest of us can get to work fixing real problems.

Trump emboldened these guys, made them feel like now maybe their ideas would be acceptable, but they're being shown that their joy's premature and they're still the same ol' tiresome shitty idiots nobody wants around. And so is Trump. It's taking some time, and there are those so brainwashed that they'll never give him up, but the MAGA-maggots' dream is steadily eroding. It should never have happened in the first place, but watching it crumble restores a little faith in this country. Still got a lot of work to do, though... I'm not sure how society can carry on with this many brainwashed morons in it.
