The article below is satire. Andy Borowitz is an American comedian and New York Times-bestselling author who satirizes the news for his column, "The Borowitz Report."

Barack Obama used the occasion of Donald Trump’s Inauguration to viciously taunt the incoming President by writing him a letter riddled with multisyllabic words, sources revealed on Sunday.

According to those familiar with the letter, Obama packed it with intentionally challenging words such as “reflections,” “adventure,” and “ladders,” in order to bewilder and infuriate Trump.

Sources said Trump attempted to read the first line of the letter but, realizing that he was the victim of Obama’s cruel prank, crumpled and discarded it in a rage.

Kellyanne Conway, the counselor to the President, said that the letter episode revealed a “very ugly side of Barack Obama.”

“The media is obsessed with the feud between these two men, but Obama totally started it by using words like ‘international,’ ” she said.

If you hadn't included the bit that explains that it's satire, PkrBoy, Joaniphonie and ALTLEFT would have taken that for gospel.

Trump supporters don't do satire or irony, that kind of stuff requires too much thinking.

Right-wingers tend to be less intelligent than left-wingers, and people with low childhood intelligence tend to grow up to have racist and anti-gay views, says a controversial new study.

They still might be pissed if they find somebody to read it to 'em!

Right-wingers believe anything. I'm constantly having to debunked panicked e-mails at work from 'em because they believed some urban legend, like people getting kidnapped in Wal-Mart parking lots with "perfume samples" that are really ether, or terrorists buying UPS trucks and uniforms to get into buildings, or Madeline Murray O'Hair (who's been dead for years) getting all religious programming removed from TV, etc. The other day I had to deal with one who believed some satirical piece about the eclipse being racist. They're like children. They like being told "stories," and then they believe the hell out of 'em.

Misdirection works even better. Trump's budget chopped over $10 billion dollars from education, but he (supposedly -- good luck actually getting it) donated $100,000 of his salary to education... and that's the only part they hear. A Republican leader could steal their car and leave them a peppermint in their garage and all they'd do is go, "Yum! Peppermint!"
