There are things that could have been improved on the aca, but in the end it is all bull chit........this was not a serious effort. The Republican Party represents the 1% and fascism whose only goal is to blow up government. Just like the Germans who were fooled and elected Hitler, we only have to wait for the Reichstag fire which was discussed on Bill Maher. This chit is real. These people are evil. I no longer see an upside to where this is going. International fascism has raised its ugly head again, and certainly Putin's attempts to disrupt democratic regimes in Europe and the former Soviet Union has become blatant.

My hopes for entitlement reform will evaporate as it is now clear that the only entitlement reform would be giving more tax subsidy to the wealthy while screwing poor people. This nation now has fallen into a very dangerous period. I heard if President Trump went on TV and said the North Koreans had launched a missile which landed a hundred miles from Hawaii, over fifty percent of Americans would not believe a word he or his administration was saying. These are extremely dangerous times for democracy.

Nice talkingpoint... except that obamacaid was the largest fascist program ever implemented here.

Big pharma along with ins and hosp corps got everything they wanted... period.

Yet we still see idiots lamenting that the risk corridor was withheld... lol.

Also... quit making a new thread every time the wind whistles through your ears. It's one topic dimwit.

No, it is not one topic. If they gave up with only 17 days, it bodes very bad for my desire for entitlement reform. The word on the news programs this morning and on the Bill Maher program Friday is that there is dysfunction in the White House.

A democratically passed bill and signed into law is not normally considered fascism. Your use of the same is simply a lack of understanding of political concepts, and your alternative facts are not true no matter how many times you say the same. Your fascist beliefs in blowing up the government and giving more resources to the wealthy as democratically elected government is dismantled, in part because the same protected the rights of black and brown people is obvious. The ACA was complex legislation. 17 days to replace the same is a joke. It is the desire to replace the complexity and messy sausage making of the legislative process with a strong man who simply has to make a decision like banning Muslims from America......but in our democratic traditions we have checks and balances which the courts have checked the unfettered power President Trump seeks. 17 days is a topic of its own.

It certainly is one topic... and could've been added to any of the several existing threads.

Just because your ego wants a soap box... doesn't elevate it above others.

Fascist economics supported a state-controlled economy that accepted a mix of private and public ownership over the means of production.[192] Economic planning was applied to both the public and private sector, and the prosperity of private enterprise depended on its acceptance of synchronizing itself with the economic goals of the state.[193] Fascist economic ideology supported the profit motive, but emphasized that industries must uphold the national interest as superior to private profit.[193]
