Famed Watergate reporter Carl Bernstein told CNN the Trump administration is trying to cover up its ties to Russia.

Said Bernstein: “There has been a real attempt to stonewall the press, to stonewall the FBI to stonewall congressional investigators. That’s what we know so far from people around the Trump campaign, where this goes and the seriousness of it we don’t know in terms of the ultimate disposition and what all the facts are.”

He added: “In this instance what we are finding out is that there appears to be some attempt somewhere to cover up what has occurred and we are trying to penetrate that cover up. Whether or not the cover up involves those closest to the President of the United States, independent operators, former campaign aides, all of that will be determined.”

You can't be serious about Obama transparency... it would require ignoring a mountain of facts to the contrary. I frankly don't care about the vitriol directed at me here... it's just used to avoid directly confronting fasts in a non-partisan way. I condemn corruption in govt universally... period.

Obama's admin was certainly the most transparent in recent times.  Could it have been more transparent?  Yup.  
But that's my citizen way of thinking.  I too have a natural distrust of government, justifiably so.

So let me ask you this then...  
Have you found anything to condemn about this current administration?  Or is everything okay with you?

Your silence concerning tRump admin, tells me you're satisfied with the way things are going.

I think any and ALL communications (including side deals etc & not deemed justifiably classified) should be public domain... period. I just find it disingenuous to think Obama was transparent. Just look at his first scandal... fast n furious gun running to criminal Mexican cartels. The obfuscation talkingpoints to avoid public rage were parroted over and over (bush did it too... when in fact that program ended after actually TRACKING the weapons)... then we had the president use executive privilege to squash disclosure (later vacated by the scotus as unconstitutional)... Holder impeached rather than hand over documents and communications.... whistleblowers punished and run out of govt... and the executive Bureaucrats transferred into the doj directly under holder to ensure their silence.

That was the standard pattern given each and every transgression under Obama... never did they allow open access or full disclosure... never. But... that's what you want now... right? Get a clue.

This is positively HILARIOUS coming from someone who repeatedly "avoids directly confronting" ANY of the specific issues with Trump, either by turning the criticism back on Obama or spouting his mind-numbingly repetitious and rather naive mantra about one common set of standards.
