The acting attorney general informed the Trump White House late last month that she believed Michael Flynn had misled senior administration officials about the nature of his communications with the Russian ambassador to the United States, and warned that the national security adviser was potentially vulnerable to Russian blackmail, current and former U.S. officials said.

The message, delivered by Sally Q. Yates and a senior career national security official to the White House counsel, was prompted by concerns that Flynn, when asked about his calls and texts with the Russian diplomat, had told Vice President-elect Mike Pence and others that he had not discussed the Obama administration sanctions on Russia for its interference in the 2016 election, the officials said. It is unclear what the White House counsel, Donald McGahn, did with the information.

Flynn just resigned. He must know that he said something on the tapes which will put him at risk. I am glad that one of the problem areas in this administration is gone, but we still have nothing on why he resigned.

Sacrificial lamb, perhaps?

It's pretty elementary why he resigned. He lied about what he said to the Russians and put Pence and Trump in an awkward situation.

That's what it looks like on the surface, Viking, but things are not always as they seem, especially with this administration. Time will tell -- or not.

True dat! I don't believe Flynn just told the Russians that on his own. I think that was already decided by Trump but he was going to bide his time before he did that so as to not look so accommodating to the Russians. Flynn messed it up. Trump is in up to his eyeballs w/ the Russians and even his supporters are probably questioning him now.

His supporters questioning him? Are you kidding, Viking? Ha. Well, maybe a few -- a VERY few.

Besides, as Trump reminded everyone yet AGAIN Monday during his press conference with Trudeau, he won the electoral vote by a VERY WIDE MARGIN. Can you BELIEVE he's still defending his win???

The man is a sick, sell-aggrandizing IDIOT, and an absolute embarrassment to the nation. But I digress.

The Deep State is just getting started, and they have a friend in Pence.

The bodies are going to pile up.

Kellyain't Conway thanked Fox and Friends of Pravda for spinning that the real problem is the leaks inside the government and not the disastrous nominations made by traitor in chief #45.
