Safety, a full belly, two parents in the household, a pro-education environment, the absence of armed drug dealers on every corner ... etc. etc. etc.  It figures you wouldn't know the difference between being a member of a poor, oppressed minority in an urban environment, and someone living in a middle-class white neighborhood in the suburbs.

Sorry.  I'll try and comply -- the odds for educational success are much better in middle-class neighborhoods than in minority enclaves in urban centers.  Which you obviously are unable to digest ...
