President-elect Donald Trump's team is reportedly considering evicting the press corps from the White House.
Instead, the press corps may work out of the White House Conference Center, near Lafayette Square, or in the Old Executive Office Building, next door to the White House, Esquire reported.
"There has been no decision," said Sean Spicer, Trump's incoming White House press secretary, adding "there has been some discussion about how to do it."

GREAT SPIN! Proving once again that Progressives (in name only) will take anything positive and turn it into a negative.

In the current Press Room, there is room for only 49 seats. Plenty of room when we had THREE networks, no cable, plus the newspapers and several news magazines.

Among the news journalist world, these are the creme de la creme of prestige in the journalist world. A badge of honor!

They are whining that "oh the humanity MORE "UNDERLINGS" in their view will be able to attend their sacred press briefings. That's right, President Trump is trying to find a location where more representatives of the journalism world can attend. How much worse can things get?

I saw Reince Priebus' pathetic explanation of the possible plan to move the White House Press Corps to another building across the street from the actual White House. He pointed out that the White House is actually 16 acres and gee the press would have larger quarters across the street where there's nothing going on.

How infuriatingly ingenious to say the least. This is one change that is going to get a huge amount of pushback from the press and from the public if they care about the press having a closeup view of the daily happenings.

Just when you think the incoming president can't insult another group he comes up with this. Maybe it was just his staff and he will have space to back out of this idea?

The last renovation was in 2006.
