I question if President elect Trump understands that the EU is an economic union which the United States is not a member. In regard to Nato, I think it has a purpose, but if we are going to withdraw from Europe and quit throwing American resources down the rabbit hole, we need to have our NATO partners take a bigger responsibility for the costs and free up a little of their GDP for military spending. President elect Trump may not realize this but Brazil has a larger GDP than Russia, and all this attention to a falling star is silly.
