Noted professor predicts Trump will soon be impeached ... by republicans

Read the article that's linked. We can only hope it's true. The professor's prediction (his track record is brilliant) is based on the fact that the republican establishment can't control Trump -- they want Pence in the driver's seat because he will be easy to control.

In other words, the establishment strikes back. LOL

I just read the same article and it seems highly likely that impeachment would look attractive to Republicans.

However, those impeaching him are from the establishment, the very folks who couldn't stomach his nomination, couldn't support him. These are the people the Trump voters were rebelling against! I'd say unless Trump did something horrendously outrageous like(fill in your own blank here) that the Trump voters would take those same Republicans out in the 2018 midterms.

Sure, that's what the R's would love to do but the political consequences might be more than they are willing to risk. It will be interesting to see just what sort of management strategies they will use to try and control him. Impeachment would be the last resort.

No need to read your opinion pieces from alternet.org.  They're all the same.

I did see that he forecast Trump to win. As did Karl Rove, Newt Gingrich, and Rudy Giuliani.

The Elites in Washington would never try an impeachment, there are too many Republicans in the Senate, just as there were too many Democrats when Bill Clinton was impeached.
