Can you day Dixiecrat hypocrisy? The very people who delayed Sandy relief are howling that they need more money......you cannot make this stuff up......Dixiecrats hate the idea of helping Americans in need, but when their district needs help.....howling anger that more money is not available. What if the rest of the country acted like Dixiecrats.......nope, the rest of the country is bound by morality and guided by a higher power......Dixiecrats are posers in that regard.

Gibberish... the real issue here should be individuals that continue to build in areas that wipe them out and then expect others to bail them out... period. Humans used to be good at recognizing mistakes and learning from them. The core error is a govt that ignores natural consequences while it socially engineers artificial systems and outcomes. Our species didn't reach this point by ignoring results.

Ok PK......1/4 homeowner claims since 1900 have originated from Florida. What exactly is your solution.........abandon Florida, increase the government subsidy so the teat suckers in the panhandle have more federal money, or do you propose a national disaster insurance programs which includes quakes, tornadoes, hurricanes, fires, and floods? You tell me what the answer is because I have lost over a quarter million dollars to non covered natural events over the last 15 years and I am all ears.

However to have hateful Dixiecrats who with glee delayed Sandy relief now begging for help....it is the very definition of a Dixiecrat.......hate on one hand and the government teat in the other.

An individual should be free to build wherever they choose... and bear the consequences. No govt intervention.

Natural selection too scary for you? It's certainly contrary to your ideology and activist govt agenda. Be honest.

Florida has a productive tourist industry which adds to the GDP. Without viable insurance pools, the entire US economy is downgraded with a collapse in the Florida economy. Certainly, a gradual reduction in payouts to properties built in flood zones is appropriate......the key is gradual. To keep paying full payments is foolish.
