The inevitable has come to pass . . . . . it is not HRC killing coal it is capitalism and market forces . . . .

It is amazing to see all the new wind turbines in Illinois in my most recent trip. The Pickens plan is in full effect as NG is filling our import needs and America is reversing the balance of trade......we are a strong rich nation which is finally on the right course. The coal can be mined over the next five hundred years for all kinds of changing technologies, but burning it up in our atmosphere will probably not be its greatest use in the future......the market has changed coal as NG like the auto overtook the horse and buggy.
