The prevision does not change current laws preventing the possession or dispensing of marijuana on VA property, but simply allows veterans to discuss all options that are legally available in their state with their VA doctor.

The VA was approved a couple weeks ago in states that have medicinal marijuana laws, up until then if a vet tested positive for use the VA withheld much needed prescriptions.
