Uh-oh...I was wrong about the date. The book signing is TOMORROW (Sat.) at 2 pm. And the Arts Festival is in progress.

I made it to the book signing today, and I'm glad I did, despite the traffic situation downtown. I really can't believe they closed Bayfront Parkway...that's just wrong. Maybe we need an overhead crosswalk from the bay side to downtown.

They always close Bayfront.   Too many children and elderly. An overhead cross walk would not accommodate the majority of people including the handicapped ....going around the area is only a couple of extra blocks.
