Asteroid to narrowly miss Earth on Halloween

It is about 600 meters across and is traveling at 78,000 mph. It will miss us by about 300,000 miles (slightly more than our moon's distance.

Whew.... Looks like we escaped another close call....

I sure hope they knew about this longer than a few days before the arrival.
I thought the current science made them aware of what to expect from asteroids years if not decades in advance.
At least that's how hollywood has portrayed it.  lol

Yeah i saw that a while back....they lost it in the sun for a while...It's not very big as asteroids go. It would only obliterate a large city...I am trying to cut back on my doom posts...thanks for filling in....
