I am listening to commentators who are raising the question if the Republican Party is in a de facto free fall where the parameters of what makes a Party in American Politics is dissipated. The merger of the Abolishinist and the Whigs started the Republican Party, and the Dixiecrats and Tea Party are now forming a new party which is leaving the Main Street moderate Republicans representing business so splintered that there is no longer a Republican Party. When I have been attacked for the last five years by crazies here as a communist, there is no longer a place for moderate main street Republicans in the new party forming.

It must be an exciting day on msnbc for you... lol. All this while the dem party openly promotes a socialist.

The shift to the far left makes any conservative position look radical comrade... like less govt, debt reduction, liberty...

Nope.....crazy stupid people cannot govern.  Their goal is to fracture and destroy government and allow the Oligarchy who is paying the tab to further steal this country.  There is a very good chance of a bipartisan Speaker which means the crazies will be like lemmings drop off the cliff.

Nope.....not less government but efficient government. There is a difference. Debt reduction is important, but if the roof of your house is rotting and leaking, it is important to invest and strengthen this country's infrastructure which use to be the lynch pin of the Traditional Republican Party. Liberty is working to have men free to find happiness under a government without unreasonable restrictions on the same.....few countries in history have had our record of liberty.......no traditional Republicans wanted to govern, you nihilist and shills of the oligarchy are destined to fail. It is not conservative, it is reactionary and it is going backwards. The right wing of the Republican Party just exploded.

In answer to your thread question the Republican party imploded about the same time the tea bangers showed up to screech and holler.

I would be ashamed to identify as a Republican or a Democrat....neither party in their current form is capable of good governance.

I think that will be the eventual outcome, but probably not yet.

The crazies will probably carry the day and shutdown the government and refuse to pay the bills until the pain from their stupidity becomes to great to bear.

When a bipartisan coalition is formed to actually govern, Nancy Pelosi will be on a very strong footing to demand concessions and leadership positions.

This while nearly every right and liberty are under duress or even direct attack... while our govt spies on us... while the govt uses our monies to arm criminal cartels and terrorists... while it assassinates citizens and bombs innocents... it can lie with impunity and withhold both our rightful public records and even legislation... it can now pass laws without disclosing it's full content and even deceive as to it's effects... it can force citizens to purchase a product under false pretense of a common good or a fantom savings. There is no longer any boundary or limit to the govts reach and powers. What you find efficient I find unreasonable... and you can call it what you like... you've progressively lost all perspective as has most of a once free citizenry. The Lincoln/Teddy traditional Republicans in Northern States are going to be abandoning the Crazy Party and we will have a new deal super party if compromise and moderation is not found.....the media has been creating conflict to allow foreign nations and the Mic to dictate policy, and eliminating revenue flows to govern......it is full traitorous behavior which the American people will finally see exposed in full glory......the stupidity of some of these people is beyond what could be imagined. There is fully 25% of the electorate now which are certifiable and they are attempting to have the tail wag the dog.

It's past time for a "Moderate" party. I would even switch from independent if a moderate party emerged taking the best from both current party's and leaving the extremes in the dirt.

Won't ever happen though, too many special interests.

I don't think trump belongs in that group... he sounds as gung go as hillary or graham. I think the only two that would cut govt across the board... rand and carson. Fiorina might. Bernie would cut military... but grow already huge entitlements.
