The Dow was down 531 pts on Friday. As of 5:39 (central time) this morning, the Dow futures are now down an addtional 400 pts.

I lost 2.5 million in floods, stock value losses, mutual fund losses, real estate losses and business and partnership losses between 2007 and 2010.  I would rather go to Biloxi and put money on even or odd than gamble in the stock market.......plus I simply do not have that much left to invest.

Yep, greed and insatiable avarice is not good, and a good Reagan Republican I piled it on at one time owning 15 commercial properties and houses. Now I am down to six homes and two commercial properties, two businesses, and a 25% interest in a 50k square foot industrial building renting for a quarter of million a year, triple net, and a PUD planned for retail on 10 acres on a major intersection.....if you did not even know what a managing broker was, I doubt you could play in my world.....the yellow blazer tells me all I needed to know. If you cannot take a hit, do not play the game. Little old ladies who had their money in CD's did not take a hit......
