Bernie Sanders constantly says that he wants big money out of politics, it’s one of the central pillars of his presidential campaign.

While it hasn’t been reported by any major media outlets during this election cycle, the fact is that Sanders has used campaign funds to enrich members of his family in the past.

Bernie stopped at Macs and had an oatmeal...........prosecutors are reviewing if he had illegal raisins in his oatmeal.......facts are facts......mind numbing stupid when for thirty years people have suggested passing a law to put restrictions on families working on campaigns and both sides of the aisle vote it down because they want trusted competent people working in their campaigns.  It failed in the senate in the nineties.

Did you even bother to read your links....like having a personal server, no law was broken, nor is it unethical to pay family members for services provided to a campaign as long as work is performed.  Why don't you look at some of the other people who pay family members from campaign funds......you would be surprised, and yes if somebody is paying an exorbitant amount for work not performed, that can be a problem.   You just keep posting nothing wasting everybody's time......I hope I live long enough where you actually post something which is correct and I can say bravo.....I think I did that with the VA, but your typical pap is just mind numbing.

Getting big money out of politics doesn't refer to a candidate paying family members for work, it refers to ultra rich bloodsuckers like the Koch Bros who fund campaigns for their puppets. Reality.

According to Markle's source -- the wife:  His wife Jane O’Meara Sanders received $91,020 for “consultation” and to negotiate the purchase of television and radio ads. Approximately $61,000 of that was “pass through” money used to pay for the ads, O’Meara Sanders told the Bennington Banner. She kept about $30,000 as pay for her services.

$30,000 for negotiating with television and radio stations is hardly big money.     As for the daughter, apparently she earned $13,000 a year for five years working on Sanders's staff.  


Big money?  Trying to cast Sanders as a hypocrite because he wants to get big money out of politics -- like Koch Bros. money -- is laughable. There is no evidence Sanders bought any politicians.  It would take a lot of time and space to list all the souls the Koch's have bought.  Reality.

The propagandist who are paid by the oligarchy and specifically the Koch brothers to flood the internet with absurd half truths for political gain.  Here Mr. Markle to prove that something is wrong with Bernie paying family members from campaign funds and he uses a made up site which tries to convince folks that it is progressives who are trying to make this into an issue......it is so sophomoric and utterly predictable....why.....because they have nothing positive for Americans.  Just a plan to perpetuate the status quo.....convince us that we should spill more blood and throw five trillion down the rabbit hole by sending troops to the middle east.  Where does it stop.  It will not.   They have become shrill and desperate as Americans are wising up to their agenda.  In the end they are simply bad liars.

Her daughter Carina Driscoll, Sanders’ stepdaughter, earned $65,002 from the Sanders campaign between 2000 and 2004, records show.

$65,002/4 = $16,250.50 avg annually
