BALTIMORE, May 1 (UPI) -- The leader of the New Black Panther Party says the United States has declared war against the nation's black population -- and that, like American revolutionaries, they are willing to kill if that's what it takes to achieve justice in the aftermath of Freddie Gray's death.

Hashim Nzinga, the national chairman of the black rights organization, made the remarks this week on Black Power Radio -- in response to the nationwide outrage over Gray's mysterious death, Breitbart reported Thursday.

Nzinga said that the United States has effectively declared war on black Americans by sending "military police in the black neighborhood" to protect the wealthy -- so they are well within their rights to fight for justice.

"We have to love ourselves enough to be willing to die or kill to save our babies and to save a black nation that is dying before our eyes," he said.

"We pay taxes. They have declared war on us and it's nothing but state racism," Nzinga added. "America is about protecting the rich and the powerful."

They probably get their funding from the Koch brothers, and just like Saudi Arabia funding ISIS....some realize the probabilities and the threat.  They are
your newest tooth fairy.  However, bringing them up to offset the KKK which is rallying and shared the philosophy of hate of the murderer of 8 innocents in a Church in SC is really bottom line obscene........but we already knew you had very little in the way of a rebuttal to the hate.....because you use the same to divide America and allow your corporate sponsors to rape our environment, steal our wealth, and send our youngsters blood to foreign lands to increase their bottom line......black panthers.....your just upset that they may have sex with your pink panther.......

Just a cursory read through a few articles on the internet on search  New Black Panthers shows that

1.  This is not a new and continued (formerly old) Black Panther Party.

2.  Old Black Panther Party says they are not the new Black Panther Party

3.  The New Black Panther Party, which is not the old, is headquartered in Dallas TX since 1989

4.  This is the group that allegedly intimidated voters in Philadelphia in 2008.

The New Black Panther Party voter intimidation case,sometimes known simply as the Black Panther Case,is a political controversy in the United States concerning an incident that occurred during the 2008 election. The New Black Panther Party and two of its members,Minister King Samir Shabazz and Jerry Jackson,were charged with voter intimidation for their conduct outside a polling station in Philadelphia.

Black Panther Boss Who Got Off For Voter Intimidation Arrested

The Obama Justice Department let the New Black Panther Party off the hook for voter intimidation in a federal election but this week the radical group leader, King Samir Shabazz, who led that effort got busted on gun charges.

New York police spotted Shabazz wearing a bulletproof vest in Harlem, stopped him and discovered he was carrying a loaded and unlicensed gun, according to a newspaper report in Shabazz’s hometown of Philadelphia. He was jailed and slapped with charges of illegal gun possession and illegally wearing body armor. Now he could actually go to jail.  

This is the same thug who says black people should create militias to exterminate whites, skin them alive, pour acid on them, sick pit bulls on them, bust their heads with rocks and even raid nurseries to “kill everything white in sight.” The same newspaper quotes the Black Panther leader, a Philly street preacher, on a black-power radio show: “I would love nothing more than to come home with a cracker’s head in my book bag.”

Under the 1965 Voting Rights Act, the Department of Justice (DOJ) brought a voter intimidation case against the Black Panthers, which have been labeled a hate group by a number of leftwing nonprofits for their anti-white and anti-Semitic rhetoric. For instance, the Southern Poverty Law Center, a civil rights organization dedicated to fighting hate and bigotry, describes the Black Panthers as a “virulently racist and anti-Semitic organization whose leaders have encouraged violence against whites, Jews and law enforcement officers.”

Led by Shabazz, the Black Panthers violated the section of the Voting Rights Act that prohibits intimidation, coercion or threats against any person for voting or attempting to vote, according to the complaint filed by the feds in 2009 in U.S. District Court in Philadelphia. The DOJ also pursued an injunction preventing any future deployment of or display of weapons by Black Panther members at the entrance of a polling location.

But a few months later the Obama DOJ quietly dropped the charges and it all disappeared like a bad dream. Judicial Watch investigated and after suing the DOJ, obtained explosive documents that show Obama political appointees were intimately involved in the decision to dismiss the voter intimidation case against the Black Panthers. The documents directly contradict sworn testimony by Obama’s Assistant Attorney General for the Civil Rights Division, Thomas Perez, that no political leadership was involved in the decision.

Adding to the scandal, a veteran DOJ civil rights attorney who worked on the Black Panther case accused the agency of racial bias for dropping charges against the group and resigned over the “corrupt nature of the dismissal.” During testimony before the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights, the whistleblower, J. Christian Adams, said there’s a pervasive and open hostility towards equal enforcement of the law in the DOJ’s Civil Rights Division.

The New Black Panthers are listed as a hate group by the SPLC. But this occurred during the election of 2008, when Bush was still President, and it was the Bush DOJ that declined to prosecute at the time, because no one was prevented from voting. I disagree with intimidation at the voting booth, but it was a shameless attempt to link then-candidate Obama with a hate group. There was no complainant; therefore, there was no case.

Justice Department Seeks Injunction Against New Black Panther Party

Lawsuit Seeks to Prohibit Voter Intimidation in Future Elections

WASHINGTON - The Justice Department today filed a lawsuit under the Voting Rights Act against the New Black Panther Party for Self-Defense and three of its members alleging that the defendants intimidated voters and those aiding them during the Nov. 4, 2008, general election.

The complaint, filed in the United States District Court in Philadelphia, alleges that, during the election, Minister King Samir Shabazz and Jerry Jackson were deployed at the entrance to a Philadelphia polling location wearing the uniform of the New Black Panther Party for Self-Defense, and that Samir Shabazz repeatedly brandished a police-style baton weapon.

"Intimidation outside of a polling place is contrary to the democratic process," said Acting Assistant Attorney General Grace Chung Becker. "The Voting Rights Act of 1965 was passed to protect the fundamental right to vote and the Department takes allegations of voter intimidation seriously."

According to the complaint, party Chairman Malik Zulu Shabazz confirmed that the placement of Samir Shabazz and Jackson in Philadelphia was part of a nationwide effort to deploy New Black Panther Party members at polling locations on Election Day. The complaint alleges a violation of Section 11(b) of the Voting Rights Act of 1965, which prohibits intimidation, coercion or threats against "any person for voting or attempting to vote." The Department seeks an injunction preventing any future deployment of, or display of weapons by, New Black Panther Party members at the entrance to polling locations.

The New Black Panther Party for Self-Defense, which claims active chapters nationwide, is distinct from the Black Panther Party founded by Bobby Seale in the 1960s.

The Civil Rights Division enforces the Voting Rights Act of 1965. To file complaints about discriminatory voting practices, including acts of harassment or intimidation, voters may call the Voting Section of the Civil Rights Division at 1-800-253-3931. Focusing on the black panthers is similar to what happened to commissioner May.   A show of defiance among white groups is often seen as courage, the same behavior from blacks causes fears.  The black panthers are as relevant and dangerous as the flat earth society.  Other than a handful of people who think their tenets are popular with anybody.....believe the earth is flat.
 

This is why we have a war on drugs, this is why our jails are full of non violent folks , and this is why people capitalize on racism in America to cause division and allow control by the oligarchy.  Americans are not afraid of the Black Panthers.  Scardy cats maybe are starting to see how they are manipulated.  Courageous Americans will be voting in 2016, and what Bernie Sanders is saying is finding support......poor Markle.....you will be stuttering in November 2016 just like you did in 2012 and 2008.....boo

Thank you for doing the same.  This country's economy has steadily risen from the ashes of reaganomics gone amuck, people are going back to work, Bin Laden is dead, 15 million more have healthcare, people with preexisting conditions now can retire early and get coverage with individual policies, we have diplomacy working for peace, we are withdrawing our military from adventurism, the dollar has boomed, the oil and gas production is now a world leader, the terrorist flag is coming down, and the Cubs may actually make the world series.....so a former North side kid......maybe your prayers were answered.   Keep praying for America.....it works.
