Are you saying that,
holding all else constant, a black woman is five times more likely than a white woman to abort a pregnancy? Are you saying that the variable of skin color alone is what correlates with the 5x increased likelihood of abortion in the stat that you cite above.
for the slow to comprehend......

"Several years ago, when 17,000 aborted babies were found in a dumpster outside a pathology laboratory in Los, Angeles, California, some 12-15,000 were observed to be black."
According to the Alan Guttmacher Institute, black women are more than 5 times as likely as white women to have an abortion
On average, 1,876 black babies are aborted every day in the United States.
You just repeated the stat but you didn't answer my question.
Do you not understand the question? Because I can try dumbing it down a bit if you don't.
Shove your lameassed questions where the sun don't shine you are like a 10year old asking why why why....
Let me give you an example. Let's say you're an investigative reporter and you want to see if there is any correlation between health and political views. First, you decide to find some liberals and then ask them about their health. You happen to be at the gym one day and you ask aloud "Hey, is anyone in here a liberal?" Several people raise their hands and then you ask them about their health.
Later, you're a Golden Corral on 1/2 price deep fried night. You ask aloud "Are their any conservatives in here?" Several raise their hands and then you proceed to ask them about their health.
Not surprisingly, it turns out that the liberals were more healthy than the conservatives.
Would it be ethical of you to publish the headline "Liberals are more healthy than conservatives" based upon your research? Did you do your due diligence in controlling for other variables that would influence your subjects' health beyond political beliefs? (Hint: The liberals that you interviewed were all working out in a gym and the conservatives were pigging out at Golden Corral on deep fried night)
Now lets apply this to PkrBum's comment when he said black babies are five times as likely to be aborted. I asked him a fairly straightforward question about that stat. Certain variables correlate with the likelihood of abortion: Income level, marital status, drug use, level of educational attainment, etc., etc.
Does PkrBum's figure control for those so as to isolate the effects of being black or white with the liklihood of abortion? Or did some statistically illiterate person see pile of babies in a dumpster and then make that conclusion based solely upon the skin color present in the pile and absent of any other variable?
