“America is the land of opportunity,” “There is only one race, the human race” and “I believe the most qualified person should get the job” are among a long list of alleged microaggressions faculty leaders of the University of California system have been instructed not to say.

These so-called microaggressions – considered examples of subconscious racism – were presented at faculty leader training sessions held throughout the 2014-15 school year at nine of the 10 UC campuses.

In a dog whistle world since the Civils Rights Acts passed.....words and symbols matter........unless a person actually believes that no one can hear the whistle.....and that is the naive position you take time and time again.  We can hear.

You can pretend it's an enlightenment... but that's just rationalization to excuse controls and alternative bias.

Those words, terms, and phrases are not hateful in and of themselves... only in the mind of delusional elitists are they targeted to prohibit dialogue. The desired effect is to control the discourse. For now they just shame... until they can arrest.

The Civil War and its attempt to make people of color naturally less than the white man is over... ...your philosophy lost.  If you attempt to blow the dog whistle, it will be identified.  Being uncomfortable living with hate, prejudice, and fear is exactly what PC should be doing.  You can try to sell the king's new clothes, but we both know your asz is showing.

Unpopular speech is exactly why we have the first amendment. Not that those phrases are even controversial.

Our bill of rights are under attack... right under your nose and with your approval. Congratulations comrade.

And calling the H-1B visa issue COMPLEX is one of those dog whistles for the white supremacists who desire to deny people of various races to come to the United States for a better life. It's all about maintaining your white domination of the higher paying jobs and denying those opportunities to other races.
