Say something outrageous and stupid, and he sells his brand. His campaign is all about his brand and has nothing to do with America or the American people.

On his show last night, Chris Mathews predicted that Trump would say he was running. Chris said Trump would take his best shots at the front runner if and when he gets to "debate".
It is really sickening to see someone like him, a blowhard who knows nothing about government, try for the nomination.

It has to be a publicity stunt.
What gator said is absolutely correct, and he has only given his assets without disclosing his liabilities.......many have argued that he has been living on his TV revenues because none of his real estate empire is cash flowing, and most of the partnership structure on his real estate is his branding with very little of his capital or ownership. So as the apprentice goes off the air, the man needs publicity, and if he gets into the debates he will severely damage the sincere Republican candidates who have actually had to govern, and are seeking a better America.
I hold him great disdain, and find him to be the poster boy for all which has been wrong in America over the last thirty years. Pomp and Circumstances without substance.

Never liked him, but I bet Herschel Walker loves him. He paid Walker so much playing in the USFL that I think when he finally got to the NFL, he didn't have the same enthusiasm that he could have had. Herschel was set for life even before he made it to the NFL.

1. Donald Trump has no belief that he will win, nor, do I believe, does he want to win.
2. He does believe he has some ideas to contribute to the mix.
3. He has provided thousands if not millions of jobs and has run dozens, if not hundreds of successful businesses.
4. He has never declared bankruptcy. Some businesses, in which he had an interest have gone bankrupt. So...what is your point?
5. He'll add a lot of color to the race and won't be afraid to throw bombshells at other Republicans as well as into the Clinton camp.

We concluded this. That it's a sad state of affairs for our country when some modern-day P.T. Barnum actually enters the presidential race just for publicity.

If you ever doubt that Trump will do anything to keep his name in the spotlight, all you need do is go to Waikiki Beach where you'll see the name TRUMP in letters about 100 foot tall on the side of a skyscraper. lol

This explains the motivation for his publicity strategy. His business holdings may get tight for money, BUT they have one other valuable asset which isn't being counted in that. That's simply the name TRUMP. He's just a real estate investor but unlike any other he's made himself into a household name like Coca-Cola and Budweiser. Brands can have a lot of value based on that alone.
So he manages to escape personal bankruptcy because he can always get people to invest more money in that brand name.
Which brings us full circle back to why he needs so much constant publicity.
Of course another factor is his monumental ego.

As you should know, real estate is a COOPERATIVE profession. I've known quite a few real estate agents...those you describe has having massive egos are usually those who steal from other agents...and that includes brokers. You need to remind yourself as an agent that you are working on someone else's behalf.
