But we do now, at least in one case. Thanks to the excellent work of the Heartland Institute’s H. Sterling Burnett, we know that at least three countries – Australia, Paraguay and Switzerland – appear to have altered some of their meteorological data to exaggerate the rate at which their temperatures are rising. Burnett writes:

In previous editions of Climate Change Weekly (CCW), I reported weather bureaus in Australia (CCW #139) and Paraguay (CCW #158) were caught adjusting datasets from their temperature gauges. After the adjustment, the temperatures reported were consistently higher than those actually recorded. Science journalist Markus Schär of the Swiss news weekly Weltwoche discovered the Swiss Meteorological Service (SMS) tampered with its datasets as well.

Global warming, as you well know, bogus.


I do not know such nonsense. I know that peer reviewed scientist studying climate are in complete consensus that global warming is happening and that it is caused by significant man made carbon contribution. This is no longer debatable by science, and bat chit crazy special interest fed nonsense is not part of a rational conversation. Solar, wind, nuclear, and natural gas will significantly reduce dirty coal and that means like the tobacco industry in the Sixties people like you will shill that tobacco does not cause cancer......how many millions have to be adversely impacted before your conscience will catch up to the evil you are purveying.

When utilities recognize the science and are switching to renewable energy at every turn, it is a big who cares when people like Mr. Markle who believe that as soon as the Fed quits pumping money into the system inflation will kick in, and that the 10k retiring babyboomers a day do not impact the labor participation rate, and that this country needs to put boots on the ground in Iraq. There is a word to describe a person with those views, and the word brilliant is not part of that description.
