For many years I have enjoyed being an amateur photographer and once in a while would find an acorn.

Now with technology advancing as it is, not so much. There doesn't seem to be any way to differentiate between real and created. Plus, what is real? Affordable cameras today can transform a video into dozens of crystal clear single shots. Some can take 10 clear shots in one second. Making a photo like the above, easy for almost anyone. Another takes 400 frames per second for your own slow motion.

Then throw in all the affordable photo programs and then the professional software. What ends up being real.

You have a valid point, Markle. If you were shooting 35mm film, you wouldn't be squeezing the shutter so often. I have shot 700 photos on a weekend with my old Nikon, and if you're like me, you have shot that many too.

Photographers (and press in general) are currently forbidden by the Syrian regime and probably risk their lives doing their jobs inside Syria. With that in mind, there probably aren't that many photographers inside Syria, and the timing of those shots is awesome.

It's possible, but with the story Margin Call posted, I have my doubts about it being photoshopped.

cmon peeps... check out the sequence mc linked to. once you see that you can call bs if you want. i bet you won't... you'll see what the circumstances were as to how he survived.
