They will win on administrative appeal, or in the courts. There was no defined risk. Just more Scardy Cat America.

I disagree.I think the Maryland law is overbroad requiring you to be 18 but allowing a 10 yr. old to supervise a 6 yr. old for that long of a walk crossing streets is too much. I think the mother is neglectfully deluded when she says the world is a safe place.

Sometimes in attempting to protect we bring more harm than good. At 10, and my brother at 8 we roamed freely. So did all the other children. I feel sad how scared we have become as a nation. Common sense will prevail.

We did too but the world has changed. You can't go by what we used to do.
