Mitt Romney said on Friday that he's not running for president in 2016.

The announcement was made during a conference call with supporters. Minutes before the conference call media outlets began reporting that Romney wasn't running for president.

Isn't this situation just totally weird with the billionaires deciding who even gets to run these days? How is this supporting democracy. I don't know what the Supreme Court was thinking, $$$ = speech. It's crazy.

$ = speech = commercial advertising

That's the reality unless politicians are restricted under some sort of govt funding and limited private donations.

But there will still be a constitutional right for people to assemble their monies to promote a cause (speech).
