'Death test' could predict chance of dying within 30 days

Health experts say a new test will prevent futile and expensive medical treatments which prolong suffering

We're going to need a dept of death and human usefulness eventually... with ALOT of compliance officers.

Eugenics was just progressive small ball comrades.

Actually, I kind of like the idea portrayed in that article. I have health issues I do not talk about here, and the very last thing I want to do is be a drag on resources that would better serve my potential survivors.

My father had a lingering death. His quality of life deteriorated steadily for 3.5 years until he finally expired in December of 2012 at age 85. He eventually required round-the-clock nursing care in his home, and he died about a month after he went to a nursing home. Even though he had a long-term care insurance policy, his out of pocket nursing-care costs were an enormous pull on his assets. Even if I wanted long-term care insurance, I doubt I would find a company willing to sell it to me, based on my current health prospects.

I had a cousin who expired at age 60 from a heart attack back in 2011. I have already had one heart attack, and I am hoping God one day uses this pathway to bring me to eternity instead of the bumpy road my Dad had to travel over. The timing on this is not one I have control over..... I have already made the request, though....

ObamaCare has always had death panels.  Not unlike those in Great Britain but not as advanced.

Semi-retired President Obama's medical advisor has written about them and even developed a chart showing which age groups should be provided with the most health care and those should receive little or none.
