GOP should accept mandate
On D-Day, Gen. Dwight Eisenhower did not tell his troops that we were going to defeat the Nazis, so that we could cooperate with them. The order Ike gave was to rid the earth of Hitler, his band of murderous thugs, and everything they stood for.

Yet after the elections, we now hear Republicans say that they want to cooperate with President Obama so that he will move to the middle. Americans don’t want to hear this nonsense, because Obama is a leftist who hates our Constitution and deliberately circumvents it. America gave the Republicans a mandate to stop Obama and the Democrats from wrecking this country, and we voted for this carnage to stop and be reversed.

Of course they do, most of them happen to be far left liberal wingnutz though. I don't think there are any moderates out there.

The illusion of this structural election is stunning. First, it was mostly red states where national office holders were selected, and second even with this structural(election cycle based on 1/3 of the senate up for election every two years and those states this year were red, and they will be blue in 2016) the plurality barely made 2% which is a margin of error of less than one percent.....the illusion has people believing this was a landslide 12-16% plurality......it was not, it was actually a stunning under performance because they needed to gain 57 to 58 senators to have any chance to foreclose any chance of a 60 vote democratic advantage in the senate in 2016 presidential cycle. Ignorance is rampant.

It does not matter if 10% voted, the difference between Republicans and Democrats when the majority of folks voting for national office were in red states.....2%. A stunning missed opportunity. Hell, I wanted Dixiecrats to be beat, but even my senate estimate was only one senator off in the final results because nothing about this election was a mystery. Why would I be crying when I called a Republican senate. Duh. Nothing was going to change the same, just as nothing will stop a democratic senate and presidency in 2016. This is not rocket science. It certainly is elementary demographics which hardly require having an emotional response. It is science.
