Australia 8 children stabbed to death

EIGHT children aged between 18 months and 15 have been stabbed to death in a gruesome scene at a Manoora home, according to Cairns Police.
The children are believed to have been stabbed and suffocated.
Police were called to the Murray St residence around 11.20am following reports of a woman with serious injuries.

Horrible.

I just watched a video of a newscast in Australia. They were at a memorial site, interviewing community members who were leaving flowers and stuffed animals. So many of them made comments about not judging the mother, that she was a wonderful person, and we did not know what was going on in their lives. There are allegations that her children were about to taken from her by child services.

I don't understand that mindset. How can you feel sorry for someone who just stabbed 8 kids to death? As bad as it may have been that they were about to be removed from her home, do they think that killing them was a better alternative?

Wonderful people don't harm the most precious gift they have.
