A politician is a professional liar. Getting elected is his main ability. If he has any management skill beyond that he seldom uses it. Politicians only look to be supported themselves. They do not truly represent the people but only their ambition. Their pockets are lined well.
Then you have the politicians who vote against business and impose environmental constraints.
Who is affected? The business moves overseas and the workers - who once had a middle class income based on their skill - now work two or three jobs to make ends meet.
If a politician has a class of people who are in need, they can preach on the campaign trail how much better they will make their lives. And in turn they can denounce the big bad businesses for taking jobs overseas - which they helped orchestrate through taxes and government regulations.
The politicians love the plan and don't give a damn, in all reality, if people work or not. The strife works to their advantage. People who are happy and content do not turn to government for an answer. People who are in a struggle are looking for an answer. And the slick politicians move in...and so goes the nation.
So what is the machine with the money flowing into its pockets that is more evil than what some think big business is? Politicians.

On what issue do you see division. They still seem to want to increase the minimum wage, tighten import controls and tariffs, and increase the tax rates on the top tax brackets. Where is the division?
