Quite a game, so far.....

3 INTs and a blocked punt against FSU by UF so far....  Is this standard for a true playoff caliber team?  Suspect

We shall see how the second-half plays out.....

Lack of discipline is evident on the Florida team. They should have had a chip shot for a field goal and a player melted down. He took them 15 yards further away and they miss the field goal and the lead. I would sit that player for the rest of the game. Out of control and no discipline is no way to play football.

FSU is not a head in this game because of Winston, they are ahead because Florida offense is terrible and Winston's team mates seem to care a little more than him.

I have a feeling FSU will make to the final playoff game. Their opponent will likely be Alabama. FSU has played just one top-ten team this whole season, Notre Dame, who was there briefly and who is now unranked. Most of FSU's opponents have been unranked, with the exception of a couple of very low-ranked ACC teams. They will not win against Alabama.

Undefeated defending national champions w the returning heisman trophy quarterback... now 28-0.

I'd call this year a lock if jameis was healthy... and the d could put some pressure on the qback.

Florida was awful. The QB could not hit a receiver and he could run, but he consistently misjudged when to run. ND lost by forty some points to a crappy SC team, and it is evident that the best teams in the country are beating each other while these miserable teams get rated.

FSU just wins no matter the opponent. I will admit they have played down to much of the competition, but they have played a decent out of conference schedule unlike many SEC schools.

I think ESPNSEC gives too much credit to the SEC. We will see come bowl game time. Miss State gets run today.

Ga Tech spanks UGA (an SEC TEAM losing to ACC team)

Alabama and AU was a track meet and if FSU can get into a track meet with Bama, FSU goes back to back this season. Alabama got exposed today giving up 630 yards to AU. Nuf said.

FSU - UF is always tough no matter the rankings. Two SEC schools bite the dust to ACC schools. Nuf said.

The Tide rolls. Now there will be SEC representation in the playoffs, provided 'Bama beats Missouri next week in the SEC Championship game.

After watching the whole UF/FSU game and half of the AU/AL game, the differences between these teams is wide. UF/FSU was a clunker of a game; AU/AL was a Corvette.

FSU is the only unbeaten FBS team; not because they are so good, but because they mostly play against creampuffs. They are the new Marshall of the FBS.

Has Georgia Tech ever won against FSU?

FSU was the cream puff last year remember? Your SEC colored glasses taints your post. Last year we had the weak schedule too and spanked your best team. Same this year watch and see. I can't believe you are an AU fan rooting for Bama. "Benedict Arnold you are."

UF is a dumpster fire.  They're so bad that they just fired their coach.  Statistically, this UF team is one of the worst of all time.  Meanwhile, this is basically the best product that FSU has had to offer us in the last decade.  FSU was a red-zone pick-6 away from losing at home to this dumpster fire of a team and lame duck of a head coach.  

FSU is marginally the best team in the ACC.  Marginally.  Have a look at the top ten.  How far down that list would you have to go until vegas would favor FSU?  Look at the SEC west rankings.  How far down that list would you have to go until FSU could hang?  FSU is on par with weak, dumpster fire SEC east  and ACC teams.  They aren't even in the same zip code as the rest of the top 6.

Fortunately you will not have to take my word for this.  We will all have an opportunity to see FSU get routed in the playoffs.

I think you read this one correctly, Boards. Final score will be 52-14. We have some FSU true-believers here on our forum. They will be needing our sympathies. Their playoff letdown will be much softer if Georgia Tech can somehow come up with a win next Saturday in the Atlantic Creampuff Conference's championship game......

Board's analogy was spot-on. The four ACC wins were against unranked SEC East teams. I highly doubt Louisville, Georgia Tech, Clemson, or even FSU (the four winners) can effectively challenge Alabama (SEC West team).

Strength of schedule matters. Consistently playing against top-ranked teams matters. Check "none of the above" for the 'Noles. Like Boards said, we will find out during the playoffs.

They're a very young team... and obviously not as good as last year. Yesterday was as bad as they can play and they still won.

Three more makes them national champs... again.
