Why won't Semi-Retired President Barack Hussein Obama STOP Travel from Countries with Ebola Epidemics?

Is it RACIST? Is President Obama so racist that he refuses to be seen as
the first president to block travel to America from African countries.

The Scardy cats have mutated into the box of rocks scardy cats.....unless you are going to ban ALL international air travel into the United States, a person who cannot get a direct flight from Africa will simply go to Europe or Asia and then fly to America. The trap has been set for the response.....how will a box of rocks scardy cat respond?

By golly he is doing a half aszed job in that regard. A handful of people ill or dead. You have about as much chance getting Ebola in America as winning the lotto, and getting struck by lightening in the same day.

We are all getting older, and it is just that age is beginning to show in Mr. Markle's posts. We should give the old guy a break, it is hard work to actually read and understand issues, and a person can get confused cutting and pasting. My granddaughter cut out legs and pasted them on a pumpkin, and said it could walk.........damn......not a week later Mr. Markle had cut and pasted an article about progressive walking pumpkins trying to squash Halloween.

Speaking of a box of rocks...there are NO direct flights to the US from those countries. Perhaps you have heard of Visa's? Not your credit card. A citizen of one of those countries has to have one to travel to the US.

The countries of travel will be stamped in their passport. Very easy to verify.

Also travel between adjacent countries do not even stamp passports, so my daughter while visiting Spain crossed over by ferry to Morocco and could have traveled through most of Africa without EVER having her passport stamped in Africa, and returned from Spain. Do people even understand international travel and how virus has no affinity from hopping on planes from anywhere to anywhere, and that the idea of stopping all air travel would stop the virus for awhile, but international business would still be conducted and people would travel by rail, boat, and automobile. By the way have you ever had your passport stamped going to Canada or Mexico.....Ever take a cruise and have your passport stamped while on shore leave.........not as simple as the talking heads make it seem, nor necessary with a virus with this low level of transmission.

My passport was stamped when arriving by air in each country. The last time I was in Canada a passport was not required. As far as a cruise....I had to have a passport but when docked and departing the ship...no stamp.

My brother left southern Europe 3 days ago after a 3 week tour. He flew out of either Spain or Portugal......they were not screened for Ebola.....no questions were asked about travel to Africa. Nothing...not even a temperature. They flew to San Fransico and then to Hawaii the next day.

I am telling you with certainty that people who were stopped from direct air travel could travel through Spain and get direct flights to America. Travel from one African country to another seldom has passports stamped. The idea that government is going to stop Ebola in the US with more flight restrictions is naive. The battle has to be won where the virus exists. Nigeria eradicated without Western help......this is not the boogeyman.......rather benign neglect and lack of resources.
