I wonder if the 1500 or so American troops on the ground in Baghdad are Obama's sacrificial lambs?

Do you really think ISIS can take Baghdad??

You are either playing stupid, or you seriously don't know what's going on over there.

When the Shias took over, they pushed all of the Sunnis out.

Now, the Sunnis are living in shitholes on the outskirts of the city.

They're more than happy to see ISIS come into their shitholes and take pot shots at the city, but that's as far as it will go.

For gawd's sake, ISIS has been trying to take that shithole, Kobani for a year, and they still haven't gotten it done.

Get real.

For gawd's sake...here is what semi-retired President Barack Hussein Obama said about them just last January of 2014.

“The analogy we use around here sometimes, and I think is accurate, is if a JV team puts on Lakers uniforms, that doesn’t make them Kobe Bryant. I think there is a distinction between the capacity and reach of a bin Laden and a network that is actively planning major terrorist plots against the homeland versus jihadists who are engaged in various local power struggles and disputes, often sectarian.”

Keep up the good work!

With as many moderate Muslims that aren't standing up to them I think they have a good chance. The Iraqi army which Obama left hanging isn't going to stop them that us for sure. Where is that giant Shia Army of Al Sadr? Oh yeah, the Marines kicked their asses in Fallujah and Ramadi.
