Did not watch it. I spent the afternoon watching utube historical footage on the 1967 and 1973 Middle East wars. I learned a great deal. I had forgot how close Syria came to tumbling down the Golan Heights across the Jordan and into Israel. I had forgot how the Soviets were painting their planes with Syrian emblems in 1967 and threatened to engage Israel directly. I forgot the Soviet Threats in late October 1973 when they threatened again landing soviet troops against Israel.

Now I see threads about fantasy. A group of pick up trucks and captured equipment which is going to threaten America. How utterly scardy cat must this nation become, before real men take the government back from weak kneed Butchmeup types who are just whores for the MIC. America has real threats. Terrorist have killed Americans, and they will kill again, but the elevation Of ISIS to the super boogeyman.....is a historical low for brave Americans. It is obvious what the strategy is. We have helped the Israeli policy of compromising surrounding nation states. In this chaos Israel is safe. Safe for a decade or longer. Nuclear is not the threat. With modern weaponry, conventional nation state armies pose a real threat to Israel.......but we have served them well, made MIC wealthy, and created a generation of scardy cats.

WE have a government ignoring the threat and refusing to close down the border. There is a lot to be worried about and America is like a terrorist Disneyland with all the potential targets.

Scardy cat blah....blah.....blah.......there are real threats and real strategic choices which must be made in the next twenty years, and Islamic terrorism are in the long term strategic paradigm insignificant. Americans will die.......tornadoes will kill Americans, yet we cannot even harden schools, but can throw trillions down rabbit holes. I am tired of scardy cats regardless of their party label.

ISIS is not the real threat but Obama is using it as political fluff to try and show he is "engaged". What a bunch of crap.

ISIS may not be an existential threat to the U.S., but they and groups like them are a very real threat to some of our allies, and they have the potential to create chaos throughout the region.

Should our allies there take care of their own backyards?

Of course, but without our leadership they won't.

Obama was dead cinch correct when he said that if the United States doesn't lead, then no one will.

That's just the state of the world today.

No, it's just reality.

That's not to say I agree with the President's approach.

But, I understand it.

My preference would be to let the whole region erupt, and when the smoke cleared, allow them to draw their own borders where they are established.

I also understand that I don't stand a chance of elected office.
