Escambia sting nabs Air Force captain

Our glorious knights of the green uniforms have arrested a suspect who wears a blue uniform--for soliciting a minor for sex over the Internet. Except, the "juvenille" was a law enforcement officer. They nabbed the young USAF officer when he agreed to meet his contact at a local business location.

We have real crime and we have thousands of children who cannot be protected from real predators because we pour precious LEO assets into these silly internet stings. A NORMAL heterosexual or homosexual does not go out of their way to find children for sex.

There are, you are correct, but they are not using adult dating sites to find their victims. The predators are these dirty cops who lie to the public who have until recently, believed what they are being told. Markle, maybe now you should reevaluate things. There is a case to be made for entrapment in these instances ONLY IF the police are lying about the circumstances of the arrest. Otherwise, these people are actively seeking sex with a minor child. Pedophiles (people who have sexual thoughts about children) are not the same thing as child molesters...who have put their thoughts into action. These people can come from any walk of life, any age group or profession, and are often successful in their occupations. They are often skillful manipulators who work to gain the trust of parent and child before acting on their impulses. They may have families of their own. Before the internet, other means were employed to come into contact with these kids. Now, the internet not only provides a way to sometimes stop these people, but also allows them new ways to set up their prey...and that's what these children are to them...prey, whether it's for sexual abuse or to sell them on the black market.

Yes yes, you are correct. The statutes on child solicitation are clear, either they solicited or they didn't, but because of the lies by LEO's, the courts have had to take a tougher stance. By all means, get the real predators off the streets, but don't create criminals and then lie to America. Now it is going to come back and bite these crooked LEO's in the ass. In this article is the reason behind Florida being the predator capitol of the US. This one sheriff has conspired with others to create criminals during these sting operations.
