Semi-Retired President Barack Hussein Obama doesn't even LIKE Camp David but he'd rather run there than possibly answer questions about the mess he has gotten us into around the world.  HE DOESN'T HAVE A CLUE!  He never encountered problems like this at his ACORN meetings in Chicago.

Amid Multiple Crises, Obama to Spend Weekend at Camp David


WASHINGTON (AP) — President Barack Obama is foregoing his usual round of weekend golf at a Washington suburban military base. Instead, he and his family are choosing what is for them a rare woodland getaway: a weekend at the presidential mountaintop retreat of Camp David.

The family was leaving Friday for the isolated and heavily guarded hideaway in Maryland's Catoctin Mountains. The White House said the family weekend had already been planned and that he would return to the White House on Sunday.

The escape from the White House caps a fierce week of foreign policy eruptions, highlighted by a downed commercial jet liner over Ukraine and Israel's ground offensive into Gaza, as well as maneuvers over how to address a surge of Central American migrants at the U.S. border.

Come on, do you really think a President every stops working? A lot of work has always been done at Camp David.

No, he is on duty 24/7. Usually their getaways are not to Camp David where everything is already set up for him, his staff and the secret service. Costs are not nearly expensive at Camp David.

It is hardly as if he is in a news black-out bubble. Like you say, he keeps working 24/7. The title of the thread is just a very worn out attempt to once again cast derogatory remarks in the direction of the President. It is a form of name calling, a comment made largely just to rile things up when you have nothing of merit to talk about.

I'm still waiting for him to give us all one simple example of how Obama and Holder have "done their best to destroy race relations" but haven't seen any response. I've heard this kind of comment from other right wingers and it always strikes me as rather odd. I'm waiting for one simple example that might be discussed instead of the shotgun broad-brush incendiary comments like this.

I am glad he is spending time with his family. A rested and balanced President is good for America. He will never get back the time with his children, and he sacrifices a great deal for all of us every day. He is especially in touch at camp David, and I suspect he will be talking to people who he does not want the press to have access. My guess Russian representatives and NATO folks. Not a thing he can change in the Middle East until Israel does its things.....he will not stop the Israeli incursion until they are ready, willing, and ABLE to leave.

It is aggravating to me that these people are still mainly being referred to as "migrants". To me migrants conjures up images of migrant farm workers who move from farm to farm picking fruit and vegetables.

These are not migrants they are refugees fleeing from gang violence in Central America. Are we so sluggish mentally in this country that whenever we see people coming across our southern border our vocabulary is frozen in farmworker jargon? It seems the major news outlets should be able to adjust and expand their thinking to be able to use a more accurate word for these people?

They are refugees coming from a war zone not people looking for field labor for crying out loud.

Seriously, Herr Markle is such a poor advocate for the far right, I'm beginning to suspect he's a paid agent for the American Socialists' Party.

The so-called Border Crisis turns out to be a few thousand refugees from drug gang violence in Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvadore -- many of whom are innocent children fleeing for their lives. Almost all of them sought out ICE agents in the field -- none were attempting to sneak in and take jobs away from Christian white trash conservatives who, used to being walked on as the bottom feeders of society, have a chance here to persecute someone else.

The Malaysian airliner shoot down turns out to be a mistake by a Russian-trained missile crew ... or maybe a Russian crew masking as pro-Russians. Obama doesn't have to pound hard here, the whole civilized world is pissed now at Putin (this time Europe's with us).

Mr. Obama has no desire to inhibit Israel's defense strategy, not when the Palestinians keep sending rockets to kill the Jews.

It is not likely, despite Breitbart's abusive propaganda, that Mr. Obama will be taking much time off at Camp David.
