NOT ENOUGH SOCIALISM. German Politicians Now Demanding Energy Welfare For Its Citizens

This is what our good friends from the far left and the environmentalists mobs this is a great plan for America!

MORE "MISSED" by boards of FL! Like others here, NOT ENOUGH SOCIALISM. German Politicians Now Demanding Energy Welfare For Its Citizens.

Energy poverty is sweeping over modern Germany like never before.

Flagship German newspaper Die Welt has an online report titled: Fast 800.000 Deutsche können Strom nicht bezahlen. In English: Almost 800,000 Germans cannot pay for electricity.

[...]

Therefore all power producers must be mandated to offer binding social rates by law.”

So in summary, here’s Germany’s latest energy plan: 1) Force power companies to buy exorbitantly-priced, inefficient and intermittent-supply green energy on one side, and then force them to give it away, or sell it at a low price, on the sales side!

How long can that go on before it all collapses?

The total cost of the solar subsidy a year for the Germans is five billion dollars. So yes, there is an extra cost to a solar policy in the short term. However, the United States has given Coal a 369 billion dollar subsidy or seventy four years of the German solar subsidy. That is without looking at the huge subsidy which has been given to Oil and natural gas. Mr. Markle has no sense of how much subsidy is given to oil, gas, and coal. So it is particularly important to Shill Central to make the migration to solar seem like socialism compared to the capitalism of dirty coal. 369 BILLION dollar subsidies to coal is hardly capitalism, but the dirty secret Mr. Markle's handlers do not want discussed. Germany has been kicking asz, paying higher wages per capita and having a net growth in exporting manufactured goods........socialism must be working......or maybe our socialism is not working with dirty coal.

The Germans give five billion subsidy to solar a year. We give five billion in subsidy to ethanol production, where farmers see the price of corn double and there average direct subsidy increase to 34k a year. The German choice in regard to subsidy is smart, and not special interest bound. The American socialism of subsidy for big business and special agricultural interests does not count in Markle's world. A farmer grossing five hundred thousand getting a thirty four thousand subsidy is Mr. Markle's capitalism.

This is the second thread Markle has started in the last two days attempting to denounce solar as the future of energy. He must be desperate......  Razz

The advances being made in solar technology are disruptive and jaw-dropping. It won't be long before solar-generated electricity is cheaper than both fossil-fuel generated electricity or that from nuclear sources. Wait and see....

Cute try.

There is just SO MUCH real evidence that the system environmentalists in our country so admire in Germany is such a failure I just like to cover all the bases.

How would electricity costing THREE TIMES what it does today in our country help our economy and who would hit hurt most?

Have no fear...more to come.

You are flat wrong.

If anything ZVUGKTUBM posted was true today, this would not be happening all around the world where green energy has been shoved up the throats of the citizen.

German Wind Power Policy: an Economic Suicide Pact

April 20, 2014 by stopthesethings

[...]

Skyrocketing renewables driven power prices are sending once competitive manufacturers and industries to the USA to benefit from energy made cheap by its recent shale oil and gas bonanza (see our post here).

For the same reason, more than 800,000 German homes are without power simply because they can no longer afford to pay their bills (see our post here). That number can only escalate – from the pieces below something like 300,000 households are being disconnected from the grid annually. And, beyond that, an even larger number suffer from what is euphemistically called “fuel poverty” – which is where a household spends more than 10% of its disposable income on energy – leaving them with the stark choice of “heat or eat” – simply because they can no longer afford both.

The fact that – for all the €billions thrown at wind and solar power – German CO2 emissions have increased not decreased – as coal-fired plants are cranked-up to keep the grid from collapsing – simply adds insult to injury (see our post here).
