Its unfortunate that this subject is being ignored by many. It is the single most important thing going on right now. Our country is being invaded on purpose with help from our own government.

All the president has done is put record numbers of border patrol on the border, and has had the lowest illegal immigration at the Mexican border in the last three years since the Reagan administration gave amnesty. Children have been coming from Central America on the "beast" for decades, and please show me where asylum is being granted by the President at a greater number than President Bush or Clinton......not happening, but keep blowing smoke.

They are just saying 47,000 unaccompanied children, guess what, so unless you are stupid like they expect you to be, first these children did not travel 2000 by foot. with the promise of guaranteed dreamer benefits its goo business to make sure they get here to send those checks back home.

and you might want to notice, MOTHERS are coming with these children.ADULTS. dad will sneak in later, wink wink and claim he was already here.


anyway, this is being done on purpose. and it is illegal and needs to end. We do not have OPEN BORDERS and I am NOT in favor of open borders.

I get your money angle... but you must also take into account what they are fleeing. Mexico actually has a very similar democratic and representative republic to ours... that by a measure of how that system can become authoritarian and corrupt... has progressed more quickly than our govt even though it's only about one hundred years old. It just happened to be created as our progressive movement was gaining traction and mexico was able to morph more quickly. Mexicans know intimately the system of an authoritarian central govt.

Maybe this is a scheme by the private prison system to increase the number of inmates they make money from? Not enough Americans locked up, just more than any nation on Earth, so now they are borrowing bodies from south of the border?

For decades almost 20k children were finding their way up from central america on the beast, which is a train and this has been documented for decades with articles, and specials on HBO. Now, the numbers have gotten to 47k last year, and folks think that these people are somehow released in America. There are some cases of Amnesty being granted. It was far more common when central america was stricken with political strife. Now, almost all these children are returned, and just like what has been show for years on specials, they will wait and try again.

The fact is the xenophobic racists are trying to show that the border is failing, yet never has there been the commitment of manpower and resources to keep our border secure, and the proof is the last three years has been a NET ZERO illegal immigration at the Mexican border, and some have argued that with the crack down on employers there has been a negative flow. This is pure propaganda trying to distort the efficiency of our borders in stemming the tide of illegal immigration. To deny the fact of the last three years is simply a lie.

A lot of these kids are coming from countries other than Mexico, they are desperate and willing to risk everything. The problem is we have a limited ability to absorb these kids into a safe environment - agencies can't even handle the current foster care crisis for legal citizens.
