Great! Nice one Obama.

PESHAWAR, Pakistan - One of the five Taliban leaders freed from Guantanamo Bay in return for Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl's release has pledged to return to fight Americans in Afghanistan, according to a fellow militant and a relative.

"After arriving in Qatar, Noorullah Noori kept insisting he would go to Afghanistan and fight American forces there,” a Taliban commander told NBC News via telephone from Afghanistan.

Noori pushed to return to Afghanistan after learning that the U.S. had provided written assurances that no country would arrest any of the five freed for a year as long as they lived peacefully, one of his relatives told NBC News by telephone from Afghanistan.

Obama better hope that giant NSA complex in Utah with all it's state of the art technology can be reprogrammed to stop spying on Americans and keep track of this guy's every movement. And he better have a drone all fueled and armed and ready to take this guy out wherever he is.

If he cannot do that, not only will Obama's legacy turn to shit, the democrat party's chances of keeping the Senate this fall will be getting very tenuous.
And according to this, they weren't looking so good even before now...

Sal is right,  markle.  Obama will do everything humanly possible to stop that character from doing what he's threatening to do. He has no choice.

Who wants to take up my 100 wager that he will be gone from Qatari soil by Halloween?

I'll raise your bet another 100 that he'll be riding with the camel jockeys in the mountains of Afghanistan by the time the fireworks go off downtown.

privately, many U.S. military and intelligence officials say it’s unwise to rely on Qatar to monitor the Gitmo 5. U.S. officials have had long-standing concerns that Qatar has often turned a blind eye to terrorist financing inside its borders and failed to keep track of a former Guantanamo inmate who was transferred to the emirate at the end of the Bush administration. “We know that many wealthy individuals in Qatar are raising money for jihadists in Syria every day,” a senior U.S. intelligence official told The Daily Beast. “We also know that we have sent detainees to them before, and their security services have magically lost track of them.”

Current Taliban fighters in Afghanistan number in the thousands and have leadership that has defeated our efforts to build a functioning, secular government in their country.

The addition of all five of our traded Afghan hostages isn't going to make any noticeable difference in the Taliban's fighting capabilities. Zero. Nada. Zip.

What Obama recognizes is that we can't win there, the same way the Russians couldn't win there. And we've reached the point (at last) where we see there's "no light at the end of the tunnel."

After we pull out, there will be no further hostilities between us and the Taliban in Afghanistan. When that occurs, we have no reason to keep our prisoners of war. All the Afghans will be sent home.

We need to re-think who are real enemies are! Start with the MIC!!

Screw Amerika Inc.!!

You haven't done your homework obviously. We have already WON there, unlike your generation with Vietnam. We don't want to leave whatever government that comes after Karzai with the issue of these folks running willy nilly across the country going back to the style of government that never educated their females, mutilated their genetalia, and lived under the most harsh forms of Sharia law.

The Vietnam generation backed a corrupt government led by President Diem in South Vietnam who was more ruthless than even the Communists led by Ho Chi Minh- Who by the way was an Allie during WW II against the Japanese.

The Vietnam generation wants to tie their lack of success into the GWOT, but those dots just don't connect.

We've already WON in Afghanistan? Who do you expect to believe that bullshit?

Once again, try and focus: When you've invaded a country to fight an enemy, and you are forced to leave the field of battle and leave your enemy still armed and operational, you've lost.

You're a teacher? I sure pity your students! Under your logic the south won the Civil War!

The way I see it, the reason we keep losing in the battlefield is we have people like you thinking up our strategies ....

You really don't have a clue do you? All he had to do was keep them at GITMO is that was his goal.

President Barack Hussein Obama probably still sees them as kindred community organizers.
