In 2014, Hollywood has set its eyes squarely on the faith and Christian movie market – a noticeable change that been nearly 30 years in the making.

So far in 2014, in what many publications have dubbed “The Year of the Bible,” moviegoers have flocked to faith- or Bible-based films “Son of God,” “Noah,” “God’s Not Dead” and “Heaven Is for Real,” with many more in store for the coming months, including Ridley Scott’s “Exodus: Gods and Kings,” “A Long Way Off,” “Left Behind” and “Alone, Yet Not Alone,” to name only a few.

Money is an interesting thing...it represents time and people want it so their time belongs to themselves instead of a boss. People should be like Bob..work for themselves and then all your time is yours. Yeah church is just another form of entertainment now days...

Let's face it, the bible is a boring, confusing mishmash of bad fantasies, filled with lots of sex and blood and gore.

No wonder Hollywood is cashing in!

Next year, look for bad movies based on the Quran.

Actually the Bible flows pretty well considering it had around 40 different human writers.

If it were offered as a manuscript to an experienced publishing house, the bible is written so poorly it wouldn't qualify.

Q: Would it be classed as fiction or non-fiction if it weren't slotted as a religious work?

I thought God was the author.

Couldn't he have hired better ghost writers?

You have a point. Obviously, none of his writers had the slightest inkling what a kidney or liver did. Maybe God didn't either?

Hmmmm .... let me think this one out ...
