Shooter was Ivan Lopez. At least "Lopez" isn't a Muslim name. And at least he is confirmed dead.
Prayers to those who were shot and their loved ones.
I will say that back in the day, you never had to worry about a fellow Marine (my service) turning a weapon on a comrade.

It was also rather unusual for children to be shot in schools. The sad part is we do not find this unusual. It is totally unacceptable.

I was stationed at Fort Hood in 64. 303rd ASA. Different game back then. I will make a wild guess and say that he did not use a Military issued weapon. Back in my day, weapons were tightly controlled. Ammo even more.

According to Congressman Michael McCaul the shooter is 34-year-old soldier Ivan Lopez, an active-duty Army truck driver.
