Once again our Nazi neocons are trying to get us into another war:

http://www.opednews.com/articles/The-US-Establishment-is-Ly-by-Donn-Marten-Media-Corruption_Media-Fake-News_Neocon-neoliberal_Neocons-140323-168.html

Look at it this way: What if Texas indicated it wanted to be part of Mexico instead of the United States (which I wouldn't oppose, by the way), and this after a vote in which a great majority of Texans claimed they wanted to stay in the United States.

You know damned well we'd have Federal troops in Texas ASAP.

Historically, except for a few years since the fall of Soviet Russia, Crimea has been part of Russia since the mid 1700s.

Of course Putin would like it back in the fold.

And, caught with our pants down (we instigated the overthrow of the Ukrainian elected government) we don't know what to do except pretend we're against Russians in Crimea becoming real Russians ...

We already established in the other thread that the United States isn't a Christian nation... or any other sort of religious nation... therefore if the United States goes to war with Russia it all lays in the laps of the atheists.

Thus is the legacy of your blood soaked Nobel champion of peace.

I didn't know that the United States was Atheist. Can you supply any facts to prove that claim? I surely hope so, sweetie ..

I see..... So now you're saying that the United States is a Christian nation and children and teachers can pray in school, the Ten Commandments and crosses can be displayed on public land, public buildings and such can be named after saints, etc, etc, etc...

No problem with me I'll go put that cross back up at the intersection where my cousin got ran over since that's the case.

Last I read, 26% of the U.S. population state they are non-religious. That means that well over 50% do believe in some God figure. So, with those figures as a base, would you say America was a Christian nation, or what?

non se·qui·tur  (nŏn sĕk′wĭ-tər, -to͝or′)
n.
1. An inference or conclusion that does not follow from the premises or evidence.
2. A statement that does not follow logically from what preceded it.
[Latin nōn sequitur, it does not follow : nōn, not + sequitur, third person sing. present tense of sequī, to follow.]

Slinger, it is difficult to communicate clearly as it is but throw in the steady stream of responses that totally fit the definition above and you've got a recipe for either falling down laughter or head banging frustration. Take your pick!

Would you please give us a little background re our meddling in the overthrow of the Ukrainian elected government? I have heard oblique references to this and am not in the least surprised by it given our history of same in South America.  Needless to say the MSM is not shedding a lot of light on that history. I think it is called propaganda or is it spin?

Seems to be a favorite play from the play book. Ugh. When has that ever ended well for the people in the countries we mess with? Why do we keep doing that?!

Please refer to the cite link in my other thread about the US government Lying to us about the Ukraine.

The story I've dug up is that our government or its nefarious agents helped overthrow the elected President of the Ukraine in an attempt to further Ukraine's projected alignment with Western Europe instead of Russia.

This provoked Crimea who was threatened by the idea that all of the Ukraine would soon ally with the west instead of "mother Russia."

That's a generality, of course. But it provides you a ladder to do your own research. Best regards ...

Always cute sources from my far left Progressive good friend Wordslinger.

This one even advertises it as being "Progressive - Tough - Liberal". When they describe themselves that way it can only mean they don't want to use the word they really mean which is Socialist or more likely Communist.

Not surprising since Wordslinger is a Socialist/Communist who only believes that the only good country is one with shared misery.

You obviously have comprehension problem. That or selective attention span. I personally believe you have them both if that what you got from my comment.

You need to understand while your socialist ass is trying to go on about how the neo-cons are taking us to war. You need to realize we have a SOCIALIST PRESIDENT who will have to make that call. And I thought it was cute that socialist Hillary has such strong rhetoric against putin. because rhetoric like that does nothing but create the desire for war.
