Following a standing ovation at his address to the standing-room-only crowd, Dr. Ben Carson said that the current state of our government and institutions are "very much like Nazi Germany." Carson says, “You had the government using its tools to intimidate the population. We now live in a society where people are afraid to say what they actually believe.”

Carson warns that our country is in a precarious position, and that political correctness coupled with government intimidation prevents open and honest dialogue. He went on to say that this state of our culture is “creating a horrible schism that will destroy our nation.”

Simplistic and incorrect. When we lose our democracy, I will entertain such simplistic concepts. Our nation has the power to change leadership with the vote, and it is the Nazis who want to destroy democracy and take away the vote from citizens, and return some of our citizens to second class status or worse. You are either for democracy, and all the blemishes which come with it or you are against the same, and argue that government is against liberty like a child's fantasy that what would replace democracy would be benevolent and good. This is simply good vs evil and in a democratically elected country evil is removed from power at the polls, where all citizens are free to caste their vote. Our country is great. Our people are good. What we certainly are not is perfect......and it is this new found and evil search for perfect which is the enemy of good. Good shall prevail.

Yeah that's why the current administration wants to station a political officer in the civilian news agencies...... I'm sorry! You're right that's Soviet Russia and not Nazi Germany...
